Wheat-root associated prokaryotic community: interplay between plant selection and location

نویسندگان

چکیده

Root-associated microbiomes are important for plant nutrient uptake, disease suppression and growth. It is to reveal wheat-root associated microbial community assembly dominant drivers determining their variability. Using 16S rRNA gene profiling, we investigated the effects of sample type, location, growth stage variety on prokaryotic communities in root endosphere rhizosphere wheat bulk soil based field samples including 5 varieties from 4 locations along similar latitude with distance about 157 800 km apart between any two locations. Prokaryotic were more diverse than endosphere. Wheat-root was shaped predominantly by while within each location had stronger variation or variety. Wheat varied substantially among different stages samples, location-specific stage-specific. Root specially enriched Pseudomonas, relative other types, mainly Bacillus. This study characterized relationships, demonstrated significant interactive variety, condition.

An integrated AHP-VIKOR methodology for plant location selection

Plant location selection invariably has a significant impact on the performance of many companies or manufacturing systems. In this paper, a novel methodology is structured to solve this problem. The two decision making methods, namely AHP and VIKOR, are integrated in order to make the best use of information available, either implicitly or explicitly. In addition, the Delphi method is utilized...

Rhizosphere microbial community structure in relation to root location and plant iron nutritional status.

Root exudate composition and quantity vary in relation to plant nutritional status, but the impact of the differences on rhizosphere microbial communities is not known. To examine this question, we performed an experiment with barley (Hordeum vulgare) plants under iron-limiting and iron-sufficient growth conditions. Plants were grown in an iron-limiting soil in root box microcosms. One-half of ...

Identification of QTLs associated with seedling root traits and their correlation with plant height in wheat

Genetic relationships between plant height and root morphology were investigated in a diverse set of wheat germplasm [199 double-haploid progeny derived from a cross between Avalon and Cadenza (Triticum aestivum L.), Rht near-isogenic lines (NILs), and accessions from the Watkins Collection] to investigate whether Rht genes controlling shoot height also control seedling root growth. A germinati...

Interplay between Senecio jacobaea and plant, soil, and aboveground insect community composition.

To elucidate the factors that affect the performance of plants in their natural environment, it is essential to study interactions with other neighboring plants, as well as with above- and belowground higher trophic organisms. We used a long-term field experiment to study how local plant community diversity influenced colonization by the biennial composite Senecio jacobaea in its native range i...
